Trützschler To Unveil Smart Automation At ITMA Asia 2025

Trützschler Group, a global leader in textile machinery solutions, will present its latest technologies across spinning, card clothing, and nonwovens at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025, taking place from October 28–31 at the Singapore Expo. Visitors can meet the Trützschler team at Booth D302 in Hall 4, where the company will showcase a combination of proven systems and cutting-edge new developments designed to redefine productivity, sustainability and efficiency.

A key highlight will be the world premiere of T-CAN, an intelligent automation system created to address two of the textile industry’s most pressing challenges – rising labour costs and labour shortages. This solution, exclusively revealed at ITMA Asia, promises to revolutionize sliver transport in spinning preparation by simplifying operations, reducing reliance on manual handling and enabling higher efficiency across mills.

Innovations in Spinning
At the core of the Trützschler booth will be the TC 30i card, the company’s next-generation machine designed to deliver up to 40% higher productivity in man-made fibres while maintaining or even improving yarn quality. Equipped with a sophisticated waste suction system, the TC 30i enables the separate collection of different waste types, making it possible to reuse more than 50% of card waste for high-quality applications. Integrated with WASTECONTROL, the system ensures efficient material usage by minimizing unnecessary fibre loss.

Complementing the TC 30i is the IDF 3 integrated draw frame, which streamlines the spinning preparation process for rotor and airjet applications. The IDF 3 improves yarn quality when working with raw materials that have high short-fibre content, and a new can-changing system enhances card efficiency by up to 3%. Its user-friendly operation, advanced measuring technology and energy-saving compact design make it an ideal companion for high-speed spinning setups.

Precision in Card Clothing
Trützschler Card Clothing (TCC) will highlight its broad portfolio of engineered card clothings that ensure maximum performance, consistency and quality in every application. From standard components to customer-specific solutions, TCC delivers precision and versatility, ensuring seamless integration with Trützschler machines.

Nonwovens Expertise on Display
Trützschler Nonwovens will present its expertise in hydroentanglement, needle-punching, and Air-Through Bonding (ATB).

  • In hydroentanglement, the company will spotlight the Carded Pulp (CP) line, which blends paper-grade pulp and viscose to create 100% biodegradable nonwovens for sustainable wipes.
  • For technical applications such as automotive, geotextiles and acoustics, Trützschler will showcase the T-SUPREMA needle-punching line, known for flexibility, stability and high productivity.
  • In ATB, Trützschler will introduce a world-first industrial-scale solution for processing 0.6 denier ultra-fine bicomponent fibres. This breakthrough enables the production of ultra-soft, high-performance nonwovens for premium baby diapers, ensuring superior comfort, absorbency and skin-friendliness.

Supporting these applications, the X-Series carding machines (NCT-X, NC-X, and NC-Xe) combine robust performance with consistent output. The NC-Xe additionally offers a scalable entry-level option for manufacturers seeking cost-effective growth.

Trützschler Nonwovens’ ATB technology is the world’s only industrial-scale solution for processing 0.6 denier ultra-fine bicomponent fibers.

Shaping the Future of Textile Manufacturing
“With the introduction of T-CAN and our continued innovations in fibre processing, Trützschler is reaffirming its mission to help textile manufacturers achieve higher efficiency, better quality and more sustainable production,” the company said in a statement.

ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 will be the first opportunity for the global textile industry to experience T-CAN in action. Trützschler experts from across spinning, nonwovens, and card clothing will be on-site to provide insights, live demonstrations and guidance on how to address current and future industry challenges.
