ITMA ASIA + CITME 2025 Sees Record Growth, Expands Exhibition Space
ITMA ASIA + CITME, Singapore 2025, has exceeded expectations, recording a 30% increase in applicants compared to previous editions. Owned by CEMATEX (European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers), China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA), and CCPIT TEX (Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT), the exhibition is set to take place at the Singapore Expo from 28 to 31 October 2025.
To date, over 770 technology and service providers from 33 countries and regions have applied for space, representing international textile machinery manufacturers and new technology providers. The overwhelming demand has prompted the show owners to expand the exhibition area from 60,000 to 70,000 square meters.
Alex Zucchi, President of CEMATEX, expressed gratitude for the industry’s support, stating, “The strong interest in the Singapore edition highlights the need to penetrate emerging markets. To accommodate all eligible applicants, we’ve increased hall space, enabling manufacturers to showcase advanced products and solutions to regional buyers aiming to enhance cost efficiency and competitiveness.”
Gu Ping, President of CTMA, added, “With the rise of digital technology and growing demand in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, the Singapore edition bridges the gap between the 2024 and 2026 exhibitions, addressing exhibitors’ and visitors’ expectations.”
By the close of applications on 12 November, almost all exhibition space was booked. Demand has since surged further, leading to additional expansions at the venue.
Sector Plan and Highlights
Spanning seven halls at the Singapore Expo, the event will feature 19 product categories across the entire textile and garment manufacturing value chain. Key sectors include finishing, spinning, and knitting, which have booked the largest spaces.
Positioned as “The Leading Textile Technology Exhibition Driving Regional Growth,” the event is organized by ITMA Services and co-organized by Beijing Textile Machinery International Exhibition Company. The Japan Textile Machinery Association (JTMA) is a special partner of the exhibition.
