Primark Appoints Matt Houston As Chief Customer And Digital Officer

Primark has named Matt Houston as its new Chief Customer and Digital Officer, a role that merges the brand’s Customer and Digital teams into a single integrated function. This move aims to deliver a unified and consistent customer experience across all touchpoints, strengthening Primark’s customer-centric approach.

Eoin Tonge, Interim CEO of Primark, said, “Combining our customer and digital teams will unlock new growth opportunities and support our international expansion. Matt’s deep knowledge of our business and leadership in digital will help us connect even more closely with customers.”

Houston, previously Group Strategy and Digital Director, played a key role in developing Primark’s digital capabilities. His achievements include expanding the digital marketing team, revamping the customer website, and rolling out Click & Collect across all GB stores.

Commenting on his appointment, Houston said, “I’m excited to take on this role and bring together two critical functions to strengthen our brand presence and deepen customer engagement.”

He will continue to serve on Primark’s leadership team in his new role.
