Mango Appoints Former H&M CEO Helena Helmersson To Board Of Directors

Mango, a leading global fashion brand, has appointed Helena Helmersson, former CEO of H&M Group, as an independent member of its Board of Directors. The appointment marks a strategic step in reinforcing Mango’s corporate governance and aligns with international best practices as the company continues to professionalize its management structure.
Helmersson brings over two decades of international experience in the fashion industry. During her tenure at H&M, she led global sustainability, production and operations, eventually serving as CEO from 2020 to 2024. She currently chairs the board of Circulose and is a board member at On Holding AG and Quizrr.
Toni Ruiz, Chairman and CEO of Mango, welcomed the appointment, stating, “Helena’s vast international expertise and strategic insight will strengthen our leadership as we pursue global growth and advance in innovation and sustainability.”

With Helmersson’s addition, Mango’s Board now includes a blend of internal executives and six independent directors, enhancing diversity and strategic direction. The board comprises Toni Ruiz (Chairman and CEO), Jonathan Andic (Vice Chairman), Daniel López, Margarita Salvans, and independent directors Jordi Canals, Jorge Lucaya, Jordi Constans, Marc Puig, Manel Adell, and Helena Helmersson. Eugenia Jover serves as non-Director Secretary.
