MATEXIL Joins High-Level Talks With Textile Minister On Post-Tariff Strategy

The Man-Made and Technical Textiles Exporters Association of India (MATEXIL) participated in high-level consultations convened by the Hon’ble Textile Minister to discuss the evolving trade scenario following US President Donald Trump’s recent tariff announcement.
MATEXIL Chairman Shaleen Toshniwal, Vice Chairman Anil Rajvanshi, and Narendra Dalmia attended the meeting yesterday at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, New Delhi, alongside leading industry figures.
The association presented several suggestions to support Indian textile exports, many of which were accepted by the Ministry. MATEXIL expressed full support for the stance taken by the Prime Minister and assured both the Textile Minister and the Minister of State for External Affairs of its commitment to collaborate with the government in boosting exports to alternative markets.
