Govt Extends PLI Scheme Application Deadline For Textiles To Sept 30

The Government has extended the application window for the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Textiles till 30th September 2025, following an overwhelming response from the industry.
In the latest round of applications invited in August 2025, the Ministry of Textiles received 22 fresh proposals from companies in the MMF apparel, MMF fabrics, and technical textiles segments.
Officials said the extension offers another opportunity for prospective investors to participate in the scheme, reflecting the strong appetite for investment in India’s textile manufacturing ecosystem. The PLI scheme is seen as a key driver of growth, backed by rising market demand and greater industry confidence.
The window will remain open till 30th September, 2025. Applications can only be submitted through the designated online portal: https://pli.texmin.gov.in
No submissions will be accepted after the deadline.
So far, 74 companies with a committed investment of Rs 28,711 crore have already been selected as beneficiaries under the scheme. These investments are expected to significantly expand domestic capacity across the entire MMF value chain.
