PLI Scheme For Textiles Deadline Extended To December 31, 2025
The Government of India has extended the last date for submitting applications under the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Textiles to December 31, 2025, following strong industry interest.
According to the Ministry of Textiles, the extension comes in response to the overwhelming number of applications received during the latest round, which opened in August 2025. Sectors such as man-made fibre (MMF) apparel, MMF fabrics, and technical textiles have shown particularly high participation.
The Ministry said the decision provides an additional opportunity for prospective investors to join the scheme and benefit from the incentives being offered. The reopening of the application window reflects both rising market demand and growing confidence in India’s domestic textile manufacturing ecosystem.
