Filatex India Ltd., Revti Business Pvt. Ltd., and Wastewear Inc., have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on textile waste recycling, product innovation, and global co-branding. The agreement, signed in New Delhi, outlines the companies’ shared goal of sourcing, processing, and marketing recycled polyester products to reduce textile waste and promote responsible production practices.
Under the partnership, Filatex India Ltd. will process textile feedstock into recycled PET chips and filament yarn, ensuring adherence to sustainability and quality standards. Revti Business Pvt. Meanwhile, Wastewear Inc., a US-based sustainability leader, will facilitate imports of textile waste into India and lead international marketing and co-branding efforts under the ‘ecosis’ yarn brand.
“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to scaling textile recycling infrastructure in India while aligning with global sustainability goals,” said Madhu Sudhan Bhageria, CMD of Filatex India Ltd.
Manish Bagrodia, Director of Revti Business Pvt. Ltd., added, “We are excited to strengthen the circular value chain, bridging material recovery with innovative recycled product applications.”
Uddhav Bagrodia, President and Co-Founder of Wastewear Inc., emphasized, “This MoU marks a pivotal step toward global circularity by creating strong transnational partnerships focused on impact, innovation, and integrity.”
Key elements of the collaboration include structured procurement of high-polyester-content textile waste, joint R&D in recycled staple fibre development, co-branded product initiatives, mutual exclusivity agreements, and strategic coordination on sustainability and policy engagement. The partnership is expected to significantly advance India’s textile recycling roadmap, enhance supply chain resilience, and drive innovation in sustainable materials.
