Panipat Chintan Shivir To Drive Technical Textiles Vision 2047

Panipat is set to take a major step toward becoming a leading hub for technical textiles, with the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) and the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), Ministry of Textiles, jointly hosting a high-level Chintan Shivir on November 28, 2025 at Geeta Sarovar Portico, Panipat.

Held under the theme ‘Panipat’s Textile Industry’s Technical Transformation: High Value, Better Tomorrow’, the deliberation camp aims to bring together MSMEs, industry owners, startups, recyclers, laboratories, institutes and service sector stakeholders poised to tap into the fast-growing technical textiles landscape.

With its strong recycling ecosystem, Panipat is strategically positioned to emerge as a major manufacturing and export centre for technical textiles, contributing to India’s Vision 2047 goals. Senior officials from the Ministry of Textiles as well as Central and state government departments, will participate in the event, reflecting the government’s commitment to support and fund entrepreneurs under various NTTM schemes to drive high-value production.

The sessions will focus on key pillars of sustainable and competitive growth, including quality, compliance, financing and technical advancements across Recycling, GeoTech, HomeTech, Sportech and InduTech segments.

A major highlight of the Shivir will be the transfer of NTTM-developed technology to startups and industry partners, aimed at accelerating indigenous innovation in the technical textiles sector.
