TechnoSport Opens Record-Sized Flagship Store At Hyderabad Mall

TechnoSport, India’s fastest-growing activewear brand, has marked a major milestone in its retail journey with the opening of its largest Exclusive Brand Outlet (EBO) at Sarath City Capital Mall, Hyderabad. Spread across 4,200 sq. ft. on the first floor, the new flagship store significantly strengthens the brand’s presence in South India and reinforces its rapid offline expansion strategy.
The store was inaugurated by popular Telugu actor Teja Sajja, who joined TechnoSport CEO Puspen Maity and Director Amit Santhalia for the unveiling ceremony. The launch witnessed strong participation from consumers and fitness enthusiasts, further boosted by the brand’s recent citywide activation centred on sun protection and performance wear, which helped build anticipation in the run-up to the event.
With this opening, TechnoSport’s national EBO network now stands at 28 stores, underlining its impressive year-on-year retail growth and multi-channel performance. The Hyderabad flagship store is a key pillar in the brand’s long-term plan to establish a network of 300 exclusive outlets across India. Positioned as a metro landmark, the store enhances brand visibility, improves accessibility and sets the benchmark for TechnoSport’s next generation of large-format outlets.
The new store offers a comprehensive range of performance-driven apparel designed specifically for Indian weather and lifestyle needs. Shoppers can explore the latest fabric innovations, including Cotflex with 4-way stretch and memory function, Techno Dry for rapid moisture-wicking, and the soft-matte textured Matpiq.
These are complemented by proprietary technologies such as Technocool+ for temperature regulation, Technowarm for winter comfort, TechnoGuard for antimicrobial protection, and UPF 50+ for sun safety. Together, these innovations offer functional and stylish options for high-intensity workouts as well as everyday active living.
Speaking at the launch, TechnoSport CEO Puspen Maity highlighted the importance of Hyderabad as a dynamic, youth-driven market. He noted that the Exclusive Brand Outlet format has maintained a 100% year-on-year growth trajectory, with strong store-level performance across the country.
He added that the city’s high footfall and growing fitness culture make it an ideal location for TechnoSport’s largest store and expressed confidence that the new flagship store would quickly emerge as one of the brand’s top-performing retail destinations.
In line with its focus on elevating the consumer experience, TechnoSport has integrated advanced technology into the store’s design. The outlet features India’s first-ever Holoflex transparent LED screen, creating a striking digital façade with high-impact, immersive visual merchandising. An upgraded POS system supports faster billing and ensures a seamless shopping journey, while the modern store layout, upgraded visual storytelling, and intuitive digital touchpoints enhance navigation and product discovery.
TechnoSport is accelerating its retail expansion across India with multiple launches planned in the coming months. In South India, the brand is rapidly scaling in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai. It is also strengthening its presence across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with upcoming stores in Vizag, Rajahmundry, Kakinada and Anantapur.
Meanwhile, new stores are also underway in Bilaspur, Durg, Bhopal and Jabalpur as part of its cluster-based development strategy.
