Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris Strengthens Smart Sourcing

The 58th edition of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris concluded on February 4 at the Paris-Le-Bourget Exhibition Centre after three days of intense business activity, reaffirming its position as a leading global sourcing platform for international buyers.

Bringing together 1100 exhibitors, the show delivered strong commercial momentum despite ongoing structural shifts in the global apparel market. While overall attendance was slightly lower than February 2025, visitor numbers remained stable compared to last September’s edition, reflecting a more concentrated but highly targeted buyer base.

France led visitor attendance at 22%, marking a notable increase and underlining the continued engagement of domestic fashion players. The United Kingdom followed with 9.4%, ahead of Italy (6.5%) and Spain (6.2%), while the Netherlands and Germany each accounted for 4.1%, highlighting the event’s strong European footprint.

Exhibitors reported solid business outcomes. Companies across segments from technical fabrics and linen to premium sportswear knitwear confirmed new contacts and ongoing discussions with key European and American brands.

On the buyer side, sourcing priorities centred on premium quality, competitive pricing and greater responsiveness for collection replenishment. Buyers also explored opportunities to diversify or regionalise sourcing bases, particularly for strategic materials.

The next edition of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris will take place from August 31 to September 2, 2026, at Paris-Le-Bourget.
