Vardhman Textiles Starts Technical Textiles Production At Baddi Plant
Vardhman Textiles Ltd has commenced commercial production at its newly established technical textiles facility in Baddi, marking a key milestone in the company’s expansion strategy.
The plant forms part of the company’s previously announced capital expenditure plan aimed at strengthening its capabilities in the technical textiles segment. With this development, Vardhman is set to enhance its presence in high-value, specialised textile products.
The new facility has an installed capacity to produce 15 lakh metres of fabric per month, significantly expanding the company’s technical textiles output.
The commissioning of the Baddi unit follows the company’s earlier disclosures on its expansion programme announced in May 2024 and represents a major step in scaling up its specialised product portfolio.
