Myntra Hosts First ‘Seller Growth Connect’ In Surat To Scale Emerging Brands

Myntra has launched its first ‘Seller Growth Connect’ in Surat, bringing together nearly 300 brands as part of its push to help emerging fashion and lifestyle sellers scale nationally.
The multi-city initiative is designed to support small and medium businesses by equipping them with technology, insights and structured growth frameworks to expand beyond regional markets. The Surat edition marks the beginning of a broader effort to strengthen Myntra’s seller ecosystem across India.
A key textile and apparel hub, Surat has seen strong participation on the platform, with around 6,000 brands from Gujarat across apparel, accessories and personal care categories. Brands such as Janasya, Indo Era and Inddus have been leveraging Myntra’s marketplace to reach a nationwide customer base.
Through Seller Growth Connect, Myntra provided sellers with a growth playbook focused on key levers such as assortment planning, trend identification and advertising strategies to boost product visibility. The sessions also highlighted new technology tools, cataloguing features and operational systems aimed at improving efficiency and ease of doing business.
The initiative enables sellers to tap into Myntra’s base of over 75 million monthly active users and its extensive reach across 98% of serviceable pincodes in India.
Myntra noted strong demand trends in Surat, particularly in men’s casual wear, women’s western wear and sports footwear, reflecting the growing popularity of everyday fashion and athleisure.
With increasing demand from non-metro markets, the platform continues to focus on empowering regional brands. Gen Z now accounts for nearly 50% of Myntra’s active user base, while over 70% of new customers come from smaller cities, underlining its expanding national footprint.
