Sky Industries Signs Rs 49 Cr MoU For Technical Textiles In Gujarat
Sky Industries Ltd has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat on May 2, 2026, at Surat under the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference investment promotion initiative.
The MoU relates to the proposed establishment of a Technical Textiles & Apparels manufacturing unit in Gujarat with a planned investment of approximately Rs 49 crore. The agreement is a facilitation arrangement and does not constitute a binding commercial contract.
Under the MoU, the Government of Gujarat will support the company in obtaining necessary approvals, registrations, permissions and clearances from relevant state departments in line with applicable policies and regulations.
The company has indicated that the project is expected to commence in 2026, subject to requisite approvals and implementation timelines.
Sky Industries Ltd stated that the development will be disclosed on its website and is part of its broader expansion into the technical textiles and apparel manufacturing segment.
