Bharat Tex 2026 Launches AI-Powered Event App

Bharat Tex 2026 has launched its official event app aimed at enhancing digital engagement, business networking and visitor experience at the upcoming global textile exhibition scheduled from July 14-17, 2026 at Bharat Mandapam.

The app was launched by Neelam Shami Rao, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, as a unified digital platform for exhibitors, buyers, international delegates, sourcing consultants, speakers and visitors.

Designed as a comprehensive event companion, the app will offer exhibitor discovery, AI-powered assistance, venue navigation, B2B meeting scheduling, digital badges, QR-based lead capture and real-time event updates through a single mobile interface.

A key feature of the platform is the AI Smart Assistant, which will function as a 24×7 conversational guide for attendees by providing information related to schedules, venue directions, exhibitors and event activities.

The app will also support structured business matchmaking through integrated networking and meeting modules, enabling exhibitors, buyers and delegates to schedule meetings, manage availability and track interactions.

For exhibitors, the Lead Wallet and QR-based lead capture system will allow digital scanning of attendee badges for structured contact management and post-event business follow-ups.

The platform additionally includes advanced wayfinding tools for navigation across Bharat Mandapam, including booth search, floor plans and stall-level directions.

According to organisers, the exhibitor discovery module will help buyers and sourcing professionals search companies by product category, exhibitor type and company name, supporting targeted sourcing across the textile value chain.

The app also provides access to live conference schedules, knowledge sessions and personalised agendas for participants attending policy discussions and industry forums during the event.

Bharat Tex Trade Federation is organising Bharat Tex 2026 with support from the Ministry of Textiles. The event is expected to attract over 7,000 international buyers and more than 130,000 trade visitors.

The exhibition will showcase India’s textile value chain across fibres, yarns, fabrics, apparel, home textiles, technical textiles, handlooms, handicrafts and sustainable manufacturing technologies.
