DOMOTEX 2028 Gains Early Momentum As Organisers Expand Interior Finishing Focus
Preparations for DOMOTEX 2028 are already underway, with around 100 international manufacturers securing exhibition space during the initial registration phase. The strong early response follows the successful repositioning of the trade fair as the Home of Flooring & Interior Finishing, reflecting growing industry support for its expanded scope.
“Many companies achieved outstanding trade fair results this year and have already registered again for the next edition due to the event’s success,” said Annette Levy, newly appointed Project Director of DOMOTEX. “It is clearly evident that the industry supports the new direction of DOMOTEX.”
Scheduled to take place from January 17–20, 2028, at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds, the event will continue to broaden its focus beyond flooring to encompass a wider range of interior finishing solutions. The exhibition aims to strengthen connections between flooring, walls, ceilings and interior construction while showcasing integrated space concepts that reflect evolving market and design trends.
As part of its expanded portfolio, DOMOTEX 2028 will introduce greater emphasis on cast flooring and screed solutions, addressing growing demand from commercial, contract and interior fit-out projects. Wall design solutions, including paints, wallpapers and acoustic elements, will also feature more prominently, providing visitors with a comprehensive view of modern interior environments.
The event will further reinforce its role as an international platform for innovation in interior finishing by bringing together manufacturers, designers, architects and industry professionals across multiple disciplines.
DOMOTEX will also continue its partnership with the European Parquet Federation (FEP), building on the collaboration launched in 2026. The agreement will provide parquet manufacturers with a dedicated platform to showcase innovations alongside leading global suppliers from across the flooring and interior finishing sectors.
To encourage early participation, organisers are offering exhibitors a 10% early-bird discount on registrations completed before September 30, 2026.
With its broadened product portfolio and growing international support, DOMOTEX 2028 is positioning itself as a key marketplace for the future of flooring, interior finishing and integrated design solutions.
