KARL MAYER Signs Agreement To Transfer Selected STOLL Assets To CIXING Group

KARL MAYER has signed an agreement to transfer selected assets from its former STOLL flat knitting business to Ningbo Cixing Co., Ltd., (CIXING Group), marking a significant step in the company’s strategic realignment.
Earlier this year, KARL MAYER announced its decision to concentrate on its core business segments Warp Knitting, Warp Preparation and Technical Textiles. As part of this strategy, the company discontinued the STOLL flat knitting machine business and closed its production facility in Reutlingen in October 2025.
Under the agreement, CIXING Group is set to acquire selected assets, including the STOLL brand, specific technology assets, as well as certain materials and inventory. The transaction remains subject to closing conditions and is expected to be completed at a later date.
KARL MAYER stated that any future use or development of the acquired assets will be the sole responsibility of CIXING Group, which will provide further information on its plans in due course.
The company also confirmed that existing warranty commitments to STOLL customers will continue to be honoured. In addition, a transition of service and support activities for the installed machine base to CIXING Group is planned later this year to ensure continued customer support.
