Reju Joins Recycling Europe Textiles To Strengthen Circular Economy Push

Recycling Europe has welcomed Reju as a new partner in its textiles branch, reinforcing efforts to accelerate textile circularity and strengthen markets for recycled materials across Europe.

Reju is a textile-to-textile regeneration company focused on converting post-consumer PET waste and polyester textiles into new materials. The company brings together engineers, scientists and textile experts across Europe and North America to develop scalable recycling solutions.

Its pilot Regeneration Hub is located in Frankfurt, Germany, with planned industrial-scale facilities in Chemelot (Netherlands), Rochester (USA) and Lacq (France), signalling an expansion of its circular manufacturing footprint.

Recycling Europe said the partnership reflects the growing importance of industry collaboration in building efficient and competitive recycling ecosystems. The organisation highlighted that such cooperation is essential to scaling textile circularity and unlocking both environmental and economic value.

Reju’s CEO noted that partnerships across the value chain are critical to building a fully integrated circular textile system and advancing large-scale recycling infrastructure.

The collaboration comes at a time when Europe is pushing for stronger demand for circular textiles, improved market conditions and increased investment in recycling infrastructure. Industry stakeholders view such alliances as key to improving resilience and enabling a more sustainable textile value chain across the region.
