Romain Spitzer Appointed CEO Of Bottega Veneta

Kering has appointed Romain Spitzer as Chief Executive Officer of Bottega Veneta, effective September 1, 2026. Based in Milan, Spitzer will report to Luca de Meo, CEO of Kering, and join the Group’s Executive Committee.

Spitzer brings more than 30 years of international experience in the luxury industry, with expertise in brand development, retail excellence and client experience. He most recently served as President and CEO of Fragrance Group LVMH Beauty, where he oversaw a portfolio of luxury houses and contributed to their long-term development and desirability.

Throughout his career, Spitzer has led international teams across diverse markets while strengthening brand appeal and driving innovation. His experience in global luxury markets is expected to support Bottega Veneta’s next phase of growth.

At Bottega Veneta, Spitzer will focus on enhancing the house’s desirability, strengthening its connection with clients worldwide and advancing retail excellence across markets. He will build on the brand’s heritage of exceptional craftsmanship, creativity and cultural relevance while preserving its distinctive identity and values.
