Chinese Textile & Apparel Exports Down By Just 1.69% In Nov

In the month of November 2023, exports of Chinese textile and clothing stood at US $23.665 billion, a marginal fall of 1.69 percent, data from Chinese Customs informed.

Of this, exports of textiles totaled $11.120 billion, down by just 0.46 percent, while that of apparels reached $12.545 billion, a drop of 2.76 percent from a year ago month.

From January to November 2023, Chinese overseas shipments of textiles and apparels touched $268.561 billion, down 8.88 percent year on year.

Of this, textile exports were $123.363 billion, a year on year decline of 9.23 percent, while that of garments amounted to $145.198 billion, a drop of 8.58 percent.
