Ambika Cotton Mills Ltd, a prominent textile manufacturer, has taken a major step towards renewable energy by finalizing plans to set up a solar power plant at its manufacturing plant in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. The proposed plant will have a capacity of 8.334 MW, installed over the rooftops, and will cater to the company’s captive consumption needs.
