Bangladesh Garment Exports Inch Up 4.92% In August

Bangladesh garment exports inched up 4.92 percent in August to US $3.93 billion, up from $3.74 billion in the same month of earlier fiscal.

In the first two months of the current fiscal ending June 30, 2024, apparel shipments reached $7.88 billion, a growth of 12.46 percent over comparable months of the previous fiscal

“In case of overall exports, they totaled $4.78 billion in August, a rise of 3.8 percent as against $4.60 billion in similar month of earlier fiscal,” data from the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) informed.

Overall exports in the months of July and August 2023 grew higher at 9.12 percent from a year ago period to $9.37 billion.
