Berrylush Rides High On Fashion Innovation: From 900 Units To 2,00,000 Units Monthly

Berrylush, the Noida-based startup founded by IIM graduates Anusha and Alok, has emerged as a formidable player in the fashion industry. From humble beginnings in 2018, with a small in-house manufacturing unit, the duo has achieved remarkable success. Starting with just 900 units in the first month, Berrylush now produces around two lakh units monthly, launching approximately 150 styles each month.

Despite lacking a background in apparel or textiles, the startup has thrived, generating over Rs 61.89 cr in revenue in FY23 and aiming for Rs 80 cr in FY24. Having secured Rs 8 cr in funding from Klub, Berrylush is valued at around Rs 240 cr and remains profitable since its inception.

The brand is available on various platforms, including its website and app, Myntra, Nykaa, Amazon, Ajio, and Flipkart. Expanding beyond the digital realm, the startup has ventured into physical retail with six offline stores and plans to open 30 more across major metro cities in India in the next two years.

Berrylush’s technological prowess is evident in its integration of technology to enhance efficiency. The startup boasts its enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, ensuring a seamless and streamlined operation. With over 2 lakh app downloads, a remarkable 28% consumer retention rate and an average product review rating of 4.3 stars, Berrylush not only excels in fashion but also stands out as a technological trailblazer in the industry.
