BUFT’s ‘Unveiling Creative Visions’ Exhibition Showcases Future Of Fashion
The ‘Unveiling Creative Visions’ exhibition by the “Fashion Studies” department at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) was unveiled on August 22, 2023. Hosted in collaboration with the “BUFT Heritage Club,” the event showcased fifth-semester students’ innovative fashion collections, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the industry’s evolving landscape.
The exhibition ingeniously transformed the BUFT premises into an immersive display of artistic expression, featuring dazzling garments and avant-garde accessories. Each piece on display embodied months of dedicated effort, unwavering creativity and an undeniable passion for fashion.
Spanning a spectrum of styles and aesthetics, the exhibition catered to diverse preferences. From bold designs to timeless creations, the categories ranged from casual wear to street style, ethnic ensembles to bridal wear and even avant-garde pieces.
Beyond visual splendour, interactive displays delved into the design process, exploring fabric selection, embellishments, hand-painting, embroidery techniques, sustainability and colour theory, offering an insightful glimpse into the multi-faceted world of fashion.
Under the guidance of Nadia Tasnim Piya, Assistant Professor of the “Fashion Studies” department, the event served as a launch pad for emerging designers, with unwavering support.
