Chinese PFY exports climb 20.7% in 2023. Grow highest to India

Chinese exports of polyester filament yarn (PFY) climbed 684 kilo tons or 20.7 percent year on year to total 3,990 kilo tons in 2023.

The proportion of 10 ten PFY exports destinations increased 2.4 percent on an annual basis to 74.4 percent in the previous year.

“Exports of PFY to India increased the highest followed by Turkey and Egypt,” data from Chinese customs informed.

China’s PFY exports to India reached a new high and totaled 530 kilo tons growing by a massive 74 percent and accounted for 13.28 percent of overall PFY overseas shipments.

PFY exports to Egypt rose 27.6 percent and to Turkey by 10.1 percent and both countries accounted for above 10 percent of total export volumes.
