Huntsman Publishes 2022 Sustainability Report
Huntsman Corporation has recently released its 2022 corporate sustainability report, titled “Solutions for Sustainability,” on its website at Huntsman.com/sustainability. This interactive report showcases how Huntsman’s products play a crucial role in providing solutions to sustainability challenges. Their products contribute to the removal of hundreds of millions of tonnes of lifetime emissions, making a significant impact on energy savings in homes and buildings, aircraft lightweighting, electrification of transportation, wind energy facilitation and fuel efficiency improvement, ultimately ensuring a more sustainable world for future generations.
Brittany Benko, Senior Vice President of Environmental, Health, Safety and Manufacturing Excellence and Corporate Sustainability Officer for Huntsman, emphasized the company’s commitment to safe operations and progress towards achieving its Horizon 2025 targets. Huntsman is determined to eliminate process safety incidents and injuries while improving energy and water use efficiency, reducing waste, and cutting greenhouse gas emissions from its operations, all while providing sustainable solutions to society.

- 50% collective progress on Huntsman’s near-term Horizon 2025 targets.
- Continual 5% reduction in emissions footprint.
- Publication of 20 product safety summaries.
- Reduction in total waste intensity.
Additionally, Huntsman provides disclosure in line with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), further enhancing the quality of its disclosures, aligning with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) frameworks.
