Indo Count Acquires Fluvitex USA To Expand Utility Bedding Footprint
Indo Count Industries Limited, a global leader in bed linen, today announced a strategic move to expand its Utility Bedding segment. Its U.S.-based subsidiary, Indo Count Global, Inc. (ICG), has acquired Fluvitex USA, Inc., a pillow and quilt manufacturing company in Columbus, Ohio. Fluvitex USA, part of the Spanish textile machinery firm Masias Invest, S.L., has an annual production capacity of 5 million pillows and 1.5 million quilts.
This acquisition, funded by internal accruals and debt, strengthens Indo Count’s North American presence, offering efficient distribution across the USA and Canada, with a revenue potential exceeding USD 50 million. ICG has acquired an 81% stake in Fluvitex USA, with an option to purchase the remaining 19% by September 2029.
Mohit Jain, Executive Vice Chairman, stated, “Acquiring Fluvitex allows us to build a fully integrated Utility Bedding business in the USA. With its state-of-the-art facility and strategic location, we can now serve North American customers more efficiently, expanding our product offerings.”
This acquisition, alongside the recent Wamsutta brand purchase, is a significant milestone in Indo Count’s strategy to establish a comprehensive global bedding portfolio.
