Pak Textile Exports Slip 9.49% Between July & Aug

Pakistani textile exports slipped 9.49 percent year on year in the months between July and August 2023 to touch $2.76 billion as against $3.05 billion during the same months of earlier year.

Textile exports for the month of August alone reached $1.45 billion, up 10.95 percent over July 2023, when it stood at $1.31 billion, but declined 7.65 percent when compared with August 2022.

However, cotton yarn exports rose to $201.837 million, up 25.79 percent during the first two months of the current fiscal as compared to $160.454 million during the same month period of last fiscal.
