Savio Setting New Benchmark In Automatic Winders At ITMA
Yarn winding specialist and Italy based Savio is launching the latest Savio automatic winder – Proxima Smartconer at ITMA 2023 and will set a new benchmark in Savio’s range of automatic winders.
Savio has combined the name Proxima with Smartconer, which stands for a high-tech winding machine, capable of perfectly adapting to demands of Connectivity, Industry 4.0 and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
Thanks to the innovations, spinners will get a machine featuring high-tech capabilities and which offers high productivity, low energy consumption, premium yarn quality, automation, and data connectivity.
Savio has ensured high productivity in the machine, due to the new Smart Booster, to a shorter bobbin change cycle and finally a faster splicing cycle.
It offers low energy consumption through the usage of the latest and most efficient self-regulating independent motors and frequency inverters and also offers premium package quality from the new splicer and new tension control.
It has easy to use thanks to the new Human Machine Interface (HMI), while automation ensures efficient bobbin flow.
It also offers easy maintenance and accessibility to components and has several Smart functions, for a more connected, increasingly efficient, and flexible machine. Smart monitoring of the winding process is possible thanks to the IIoT.
According to the company, investing in Proxima Smartconer will enable spinners to be more agile and responsive as businesses need change.
