Zhoukou, Henan province, holds a prominent position in the textile and apparel industry, ranking as the largest in scale within the province. This sector stands as a crucial component of the trillion-yuan industrial clusters. The region boasts 290 designated textile and apparel enterprises, collectively producing 870 kt of yarn, 900 million metres of woven fabrics and 81 kt of knitted fabrics annually. The annual output of various apparel types reaches an impressive 900 million pieces.

This initiative aligns with the active implementation of the “three major transformations” and the execution of a three-year action plan for key industrial chains within the textile and apparel sector.
