Vietnam Textile & Apparel Exports Slip 14.4% Between Jan-Aug
In the first eight months of the current year, Vietnamese textile and apparel exports slipped 14.4 percent year on year to US $22.5 billion.
However, for the month of August alone, they rose by 5.5 percent over the same month of previous year to $3.4 billion.
Of overall textile and apparel exports, those to the US totaled $10.1 billion, down 22.4 percent, to the EU 2.66 billion, a drop of 11.9 percent and those to South Korea declined by 3 percent to $2.08 billion.
