Vietnamese Textile & Apparel Exports Post Impressive Turnaround

Textile and garment exports from Vietnam reported a remarkable turnaround in the month of January 2024

Vietnamese textile and apparel exports totaled US $3.13 billion in the first month of ongoing year, a significant increase of 39 percent over the same month of previous year.

“In January, the US continued to be Vietnam’s largest textile and garment export market with $1.32 billion, up by a massive 33.5 percent over January 2023,” according to the department of customs.

Vietnam’s overall export of goods in January touched $34.53 billion, the highest since August 2022 and also an impressive growth of 46percent over the same period last year.
