9% Boost In ApparelTech Productivity With FastReactPlan
South Korean outdoor garment manufacturer, ApparelTech Co has realised an annual productivity improvement of 9 percent and increased its on-time delivery performance by a further 7 percent after adopting Coats Digital’s FastReactPlan solution.
“The solution has enabled the company to connect and consolidate its planning and scheduling information across disparate sources into one highly visual unified system, significantly reducing the people hours required on time consuming manual tasks,” Coats Digital said in a press release.
Other benefits achieved by ApparelTech include reduction in time spent on loading orders, overall reduction in planning time, improved plan accuracy, quicker response in accepting or changing customer orders, significant reduction in errors and reduction in last-minute firefighting.
ApparelTech is a producer of expedition insulated and Down jackets, foul-weather clothing and lifestyle garments including vests, swim shorts and trousers for large retail brands such as Columbia Sportswear, VF, Timberland, Vans, Champion, Walmart, Lands’ End, Nautica, J.Crew, Costco and others.
The company has factories in Vietnam and Indonesia and produces over 11.5 million pieces a year and has an annual turnover of over US $158 million.
