KCG Textiles Launches New Spinning Factory In Egypt’s 10th Of Ramadan City

Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib attended the launch of KCG Textiles’ new spinning factory in 10th of Ramadan City, reaffirming foreign investor confidence in Egypt’s industrial sector.
El-Khatib highlighted that the Turkish company’s expansion aligns with Egypt’s strategy to boost exports and strengthen its position as a regional industrial hub. He also confirmed the ministry’s commitment to supporting KCG Textiles, especially as the company prepares to launch a POY production plant in its next phase.
KCG Textiles, which has been operating in Egypt since 2007 under the Free Zone system, produces ready-made curtains and furnishings, beginning from the spinning stage. The company exports 100% of its output to Europe, the US, and China.
With annual exports of $65 million and total investments of $75 million, KCG provides around 1,600 job opportunities and supplies major international brands.
The latest expansion adds 15,000 square meters to the facility and introduces five key production lines, including polyester thread production, textile manufacturing, and dyeing.
