Kornit Digital Debuts Breakthrough Footwear Solution At ITMA Asia + CITME 2025

Kornit Digital Ltd., a global leader in sustainable, on-demand digital textile production, unveiled its new digital footwear solution for the sports and athleisure markets at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025, marking a major milestone in scalable digital manufacturing.
Developed over two years in collaboration with leading global brands, the innovation offers a complete digital workflow for footwear decoration, delivering durability, design freedom and sustainability in a single step. Kornit’s technology has already powered production of over one million pairs of shoes, proving its readiness for large-scale adoption.
Targeting a market of about one billion decorated shoe uppers annually, the solution replaces complex analog processes with agile, waterless digital production, drastically shortening design and development cycles.
“The footwear industry is entering a new digital era,” said Ronen Samuel, CEO of Kornit Digital. “Our solution empowers brands to create on demand faster, cleaner and more creatively than ever before.”
Following successful installations in China, Kornit is expanding to Vietnam and Germany. The system also supports local, near-shore production, reducing waste, inventory and carbon emissions.
Kornit will showcase its next-generation footwear technology at Techtextil 2026 in Frankfurt, featuring enhanced polymers and material compatibility.
