General Group Signs MoU With Maharashtra Government At World Economic Forum

General Group of Companies has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to expand capacity in its film manufacturing business, strengthening its BOPP and BOPET platforms. The agreement was formalised during the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

The Group was represented at the forum by its Directors, Juned General and Amin General, who participated in discussions with policymakers, industry leaders and global delegations.

During the week, the company also held interactions with state leadership from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Assam and Tamil Nadu, focusing on opportunities for industrial growth and investment. The engagements reflected growing global confidence in Indian manufacturing and its expanding role in supporting the country’s economic development.
