Vijay Kumar Jain Takes Charge As Site President Of Reliance Polyester Ltd

Vijay Kumar Jain has assumed charge as Site President at Reliance Polyester Ltd, strengthening the company’s leadership as it continues to expand its operational capabilities and drive sustainable growth in the polyester and petrochemical sector.

With close to four decades of industry experience, Jain brings extensive expertise in engineering, plant maintenance and large-scale project execution. Over the course of his career, he has played a key role in improving operational efficiency, enhancing plant reliability and leading major expansion projects across polyester, petrochemical and agrochemical manufacturing facilities.

Prior to taking on this role, Jain held senior leadership positions at several prominent companies, including Shubhalakshmi Polyester Ltd, Filatex India Ltd, Jindal Poly Films Ltd, PI Industries Ltd, Indorama Synthetics Ltd, Modern Petrofil, Sanghi Polyester, Raymond Synthetics Ltd and Pasupati Acrylon Ltd.

Jain holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jiwaji University. He is also a certified Vibration Analyst (Category III) from Mobius Institute, Australia, and holds a Lubrication Analyst MLT II certification from International Council for Machinery Lubrication.

His career has been defined by strong technical expertise in condition monitoring, energy optimisation, integrated management systems and safety-led operations. In his new role, Jain is expected to further strengthen operational excellence at Reliance Polyester Ltd while supporting the company’s long-term growth and sustainability objectives.
