CITI, Telangana Govt To Host ATEXCON 2026 In Hyderabad

Confederation of Indian Textile Industry, in partnership with the Government of Telangana, will host the 13th Asian Textile Conference (ATEXCON) in Hyderabad on April 2–3, 2026.
Themed Reimagining the Future of Global Textiles, the conference will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss the evolving dynamics of the global textiles and apparel sector. The event will be held alongside the Telangana Textile Dialogue, a platform aimed at shaping a future-ready textile ecosystem through technology, sustainability, and global collaboration.
According to Ashwin Chandran, ATEXCON 2026 is designed to serve as a strategic forum to chart the next phase of growth for the global textile industry amid a rapidly changing business environment.
Key discussions will focus on three pillars: fibre innovation and scalability, next-generation manufacturing and supply chains driven by AI and automation and market strategies targeting emerging global consumers.
The event will also feature a ministerial dinner, lifetime achievement awards, and a startup pitch platform for innovators working across materials, recycling, AI and supply chain solutions. Delegates will have the opportunity to visit the upcoming PM MITRA Park Warangal, highlighting India’s next-generation textile infrastructure.
India’s textiles and apparel sector remains a key contributor to GDP, exports and employment, with the country targeting a US$ 350 billion industry by 2030.
