Welspun Living To Acquire 35% Stake In Welspun Corporate Services
Welspun Living has approved the acquisition of a 35% stake in Welspun Corporate Services (WCSL) for Rs 35,000 through the purchase of 3,500 equity shares.
The remaining 65% stake in WCSL will be held by other Welspun Group entities. The approval was granted by the company’s board of directors at its meeting held on March 19, 2026.
WCSL is being developed as a centralized corporate services platform for the group, offering functions such as human resources, legal, compliance, taxation, corporate restructuring and strategic advisory. The move aims to streamline and strengthen shared services across the Welspun Group.
Following the transaction, WCSL will become an associate company of Welspun Living. The company and other group entities will also enter into a joint shareholders’ agreement, which will not impact the management or control of Welspun Living.
