Lululemon Appoints Former Levi’s CEO Chip Bergh To Board

Lululemon Athletica inc. has appointed Chip Bergh, former President and CEO of Levi Strauss & Co., to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

The appointment is part of Lululemon’s ongoing board refresh strategy, with five independent directors added over the past five years. The company said Bergh’s extensive experience in brand transformation, retail growth and value creation will support its long-term strategic vision.

Bergh said he looks forward to contributing to the company’s growth as it continues to strengthen its position in the global athletic and lifestyle market.

He will stand for election at the company’s 2026 annual meeting, replacing outgoing director David Mussafer, who will not seek re-election after his current term ends.

The move comes as Lululemon continues its search for a new CEO while focusing on sustained growth and shareholder value creation.
