T.T. Ltd’s Howrah Project To Begin Production And Warehousing Soon

The Howrah Project of T.T. Ltd, located in the West Bengal Hosiery Park, is making significant strides towards completing construction work and will soon begin warehousing and production of innerwear, undergarments, garments and fabric. A Vaastu Puja and Havan were held at the new factory’s ground floor in the presence of Sanjay Kumar Jain, Managing Director, Jyoti Jain, Joint Managing Director, Hardik Jain, Director of T.T. Group and Kolkata executives and staff.

Once machinery and other facilities are installed, manufacturing production is expected to commence before the end of February 2025, significantly boosting production output and sales turnover for the 2025-26 financial year. Warehousing activities have already started at the site from today itself.

Kolkata holds historical significance in the hosiery industry, with the first hosiery unit established here back in 1892. As an established hosiery manufacturing center, T.T. Ltd aims to expand its production base rapidly. Kolkata continues to be a crucial production location since the launch of the T.T. brand in 1964, serving as a major hub for hosiery and garments manufacturing and a key sales center for eastern states such as Assam, Orissa, Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand.

The company is also expanding its fabric sales across India, with Surat being considered as a future manufacturing base. Export opportunities for garments have also improved, with T.T. Ltd receiving substantial orders from both the domestic and international markets. This growth is attributed to the infusion of new talent, with Group Director Hardik Jain recently joining after completing his graduation from Melbourne University, Australia.

Furthermore, Muskaan Jain, daughter of Sanjay Kumar Jain and Jyoti Jain, is expected to join the T.T. Group after completing her MBA from London Business School. With three years of experience in the garment business, she is poised to contribute significantly to the growth of T.T. brand production and sales.
