RoDTEP Scheme Extended By Six Months, Rates And Caps Remain Unchanged

The Government of India has announced a six-month extension of the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme, providing continued support to exporters across sectors. The extension will be effective from April 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026, as per a notification issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).
The decision ensures that all eligible export products will continue to benefit under the scheme without any change in the existing rates and value caps. The rates specified under Appendix 4R and Appendix 4RE, as applicable on March 31, 2026, will remain in force throughout the extended period.
The government has also clarified that all other terms and conditions governing the scheme will remain unchanged. This continuity provides stability and predictability for exporters navigating a challenging global trade environment.
With this extension, exporters can continue to claim benefits on shipments made during the six-month period under the prevailing structure.
