Karl Mayer To Showcase Smart Textile Solutions At ITM Istanbul 2026

Karl Mayer will showcase its latest solutions for warp knitting, warp preparation and technical textiles at ITM Istanbul 2026, taking place from June 9–13 at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center. Exhibiting at Booth 303 A in Hall 3, the company will focus on technologies designed to improve efficiency, flexibility and product innovation for textile manufacturers operating in a challenging market environment.
Among the key highlights will be a live demonstration of the HKS 4-M EL ECO, a versatile warp knitting machine developed for high efficiency, fast pattern changes and cost-effective production. At the exhibition, the machine will produce a textured outerwear fabric featuring a distinctive crepe-on-crepe effect, widely known internationally as flap fabric or fırfır fabric.
Karl Mayer will also present a textile innovation showcase featuring new developments in tricot, lace and weft insertion fabrics for fashion, sportswear, home textiles and upholstery applications. Featured innovations include lightweight performance fabrics, open-mesh curtain solutions, shade nets, upholstery fabrics and stretch eyelash lace produced on advanced TEXTRONIC machines.

In warp preparation, the company will highlight its PROWARP sectional warping machine and MULTI-MATIC warp sampling machine, alongside the PRODYE indigo dyeing systems for slasher and rope dyeing. The dyeing solutions are designed to achieve darker indigo shades while reducing chemical consumption and improving operational efficiency.
According to Bastian Fritsch, the company expects strong visitor interest from Türkiye and neighbouring textile markets, including Egypt, as manufacturers continue exploring new technologies and business opportunities.
Through its latest machinery and textile innovations, Karl Mayer aims to support customers in improving productivity, expanding product capabilities and strengthening competitiveness in evolving global textile markets.
