BSL Reports Steady FY26 Revenue Despite Global Uncertainty

BSL Limited reported stable financial performance for FY26 despite continued pressure on the textile industry from weak demand, volatile raw material prices and rising logistics costs.

The company posted revenue of ₹657 crore for FY26, marginally lower than ₹667 crore reported in FY25. EBITDA for the year stood at ₹50 crore compared to ₹60 crore in the previous fiscal, while gross profit came in at ₹283 crore with a margin of 43 per cent. Profit after tax for FY26 stood at ₹2.4 crore.

For the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026, BSL reported revenue of ₹148 crore, compared to ₹155 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Gross profit during Q4 FY26 stood at ₹68 crore with margins of 45.9 per cent, while EBITDA came in at ₹10 crore with a margin of 7 per cent. The company reported a net loss of ₹1 crore during the quarter.

BSL said its performance was supported by operational efficiency, disciplined cost management and inventory control despite softer demand in domestic and export markets. The company also highlighted that its cotton fabric business commenced operations in October 2025.

Commenting on the performance, Nivedan Churiwal, Managing Director of BSL Ltd, said, “FY26 was a year of navigating a complex and volatile business environment for the textile industry. Persistent pressure on demand across domestic and international markets, rising cotton and raw material prices, and higher freight and logistics costs driven by geopolitical disruptions in the Western Asia region impacted industry-wide sentiment during the second half of the year.”

He further added, “While near term demand visibility remains cautious, improving market enquiries, gradual normalisation in input costs, and better inventory alignment across the textile value chain provide encouraging signs for the coming quarters. With a strong manufacturing foundation and continued focus on operational agility, BSL remains committed towards sustainable growth and long-term value creation.”
