CHT Group Awarded Best Managed Company 2026
CHT Group GmbH has been honoured with the Best Managed Company 2026 award, recognising its strong transformation strategy and clear strategic direction. The prestigious accolade is presented by Deloitte Private, UBS, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and the Federation of German Industries (BDI) to exceptionally managed medium-sized companies.
The recognition comes as validation of CHT Group’s ongoing transformation journey. Over recent months, the company has undertaken a major organisational realignment focused on enhancing customer value, strengthening customer proximity, clarifying responsibilities, and simplifying internal structures.
“This award comes at a time when our company has faced significant challenges. It confirms that we are on the right path,” said Eva Baumann, CEO of CHT Group. She added that the company aims to become a clearer, more focused organisation that remains close to its customers and competitive over the long term.
The Best Managed Companies selection process evaluates businesses across several critical dimensions, including strategy, innovation, performance, corporate culture, governance, and financial management. The rigorous multi-stage assessment includes in-depth interviews and final evaluation by an independent jury comprising business, academic, and media representatives.
For CHT Group, the award reflects more than recognition, it highlights the company’s commitment to strategic clarity, operational efficiency, and a value-driven corporate culture. Baumann noted that the honour serves as motivation to continue the company’s transformation efforts and further strengthen its market competitiveness.
The company was also commended for its value-oriented corporate governance. Markus Seiz, Director at Deloitte Private and Head of the Best Managed Companies Program, praised CHT Group for combining economic strength with a strong sense of responsibility towards employees, the market, and society.
The award was formally accepted by Eva Baumann on behalf of the CHT Group team at the award ceremony held at the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten in Frankfurt am Main, hosted by Susanne Schöne.
