Coats And JACK Partner To Support China’s Apparel SMEs
Coats Group PLC, a world-leading Tier 2 supplier of critical components to the apparel and footwear industries, has signed a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation with JACK Technology Co., Ltd., a global leader in intelligent sewing equipment, to accelerate innovation for China’s rapidly growing small- and medium-sized apparel manufacturing sector.
The strategic partnership will combine Coats’ high-performance thread solutions, digital software capabilities and technical support with JACK’s intelligent sewing systems, extensive network and technical expertise to create an integrated solution tailored specifically for apparel manufacturing SMEs.
The collaboration aims to help manufacturers identify and address shop-floor inefficiencies in real time, enhance productivity and improve inventory management, enabling greater operational efficiency and competitiveness.

The Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation was formally signed by Adrian Elliott and Moly (Li) Wu in Taizhou, China, on May 25, 2026.
