X-Rite Pantone Launches Offset360 Colour Management Solution

X-Rite Pantone has introduced Offset360, a comprehensive colour management solution aimed at improving offset pressroom efficiency and reducing make-ready time without requiring investment in new presses.

The system integrates press-side scanning automation, quality control and reporting software, and automated ink presetting into a closed-loop workflow. It is designed to help sheetfed offset printers achieve precise colour control, reduce waste and improve consistency across jobs and production sites.

According to X-Rite Pantone, many print quality challenges stem from disconnected workflows and manual adjustments rather than equipment limitations. Offset360 addresses these issues by enabling a connected, data-driven approach that modernises existing press systems while lowering upfront costs by up to 60 per cent compared to multiple standalone solutions.

The solution incorporates IntelliTrax2 scanning technology, MeasureColor production software, reporting tools and ink presetting systems. Operators gain real-time spectral data and visual feedback, allowing faster and more accurate colour adjustments across different substrates and paper types.

A structured implementation process includes workflow assessment, customised configuration, installation, operator training and performance validation, followed by ongoing audits to maintain efficiency and consistency.

Offset360 also supports open architecture integration, making it compatible with most presses and aligned with G7 and ISO colour standards. The system enables consistent colour data usage across presses and locations, supporting improved productivity and reduced variability in print production.

Industry users report reduced setup time, improved productivity and fewer colour-related issues, highlighting the growing importance of automation in modern offset printing workflows.
