Debi Prasad Patra Brings Polyester Expertise To IndianOil MCPI Yarn Board
Debi Prasad Patra, Managing Director and CEO of MCPI Private Limited, serves as a Director on the Board of IndianOil MCPI Yarn Private Limited, bringing extensive leadership experience across the polyester and chemical industries.
His association with the joint venture supports its vision of building a competitive and sustainable polyester yarn manufacturing business in India. The collaboration combines IndianOil’s project execution capabilities with MCPI’s experience across the polyester value chain.
Patra has served as Managing Director and CEO of MCPI since September 2024, following a long tenure as Whole-Time Director. His experience also includes leadership responsibilities at Garden Silk Mills Private Limited and oversight of human resources, administration, procurement and information technology at Haldia Petrochemicals Limited.
His earlier leadership roles include Managing Director of India Power Corporation Limited and DPSC Limited, as well as Vice Chairman of MCPI.
