Ricon Industries Starts Polyester Yarn Production From Sept. 30, 2026

Ricon Industries, a subsidiary of R&B Denims, has expanded its business into polyester yarn manufacturing with the commencement of commercial production on September 30, 2026, at its existing facility in Mangarol, Surat district.
The company has invested around Rs 25 crore as an initial capital outlay towards machinery, skilled manpower and infrastructure modifications for the new business.
The expansion is part of Ricon Industries’ strategy to strengthen its position across the textile value chain and diversify its operations. The company plans to leverage the new business to support value-added denim and apparel manufacturing, including jeans, jackets and other garments.
The move will enable greater vertical integration of operations, allowing the company to move beyond denim fabric manufacturing towards finished apparel. By increasing in-house processing and garmenting capabilities, Ricon Industries expects to improve operational efficiency, enhance margins and reduce its exposure to fluctuations in the denim fabric market.
The expansion also provides the company with opportunities to enter B2C and D2C apparel segments and tap into the growing global apparel export market. It could further enable Ricon Industries to cater to international brands seeking integrated textile and apparel manufacturing capabilities.
The company expects the diversification to create additional revenue streams while supporting its long-term growth and sustainability objectives, including the adoption of more sustainable garment manufacturing practices.
R&B Denims is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of denim textile products.
