CMAI’s 84th Garment Fair Draws 920 Exhibitors

The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) has secured participation from 920 exhibitors and 1,010 brands for its 84th National Garment Fair, scheduled for February 2027 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.

The Spring/Summer sourcing event will feature 1,050 stalls spread across approximately 41,000 square metres. Men’s wear, kids’ wear and accessories will be showcased from February 1 to 3, followed by women’s wear from February 8 to 10.

Kids’ wear will have the largest representation, with 382 exhibitors, followed by women’s wear with 280, men’s wear with 244 and accessories with 13. The booking response reflects manufacturers’ and brands’ interest in connecting with retailers ahead of the new buying season.

CMAI president Santosh Katariya highlighted the expansion of organised retail and rising consumer aspirations as key growth drivers for India’s domestic apparel industry. Businesses are responding to cost pressures and changing consumption patterns through product innovation, sharper merchandising and closer alignment with market demand.

CMAI vice-president and fair sub-committee chairman Rohit Munjal said the strong stall bookings reflected the platform’s value to the apparel trade. The event will enable brands to present their latest collections and strengthen relationships with retail buyers.

The fair will bring manufacturers, brands and retailers together for seasonal sourcing, business development and networking across major apparel categories.
